AQ International represent the next evolution of Hotel and Resort in Italy.
Salvo Cacciola, founder and CEO of AQ International, is the mastermind behind of the project which will be implemented in the town of Anzio, a beautiful and important historical marine location only fifty minutes away from the centre of Rome. Florentine by birth, he completed his basic studies in New York, where he lived for more than 8 years. On his return to Italy he attended university, graduating in Scenic Architecture Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. Subsequently, he attended the vocational school of cinema “Laboratorio Cinema 87” Rome obtaining the certificate of movie director and film maker. He also has several specialized patents in the field of marine activities, motor yacht & sailing, underwater filming, and rescue. He served as director of the Cultural Tourism Commission for “A.D.R.” Aeroporti di Roma; he has collaborated on films and Wildlife Services for RAI Italian State Television and other networks, as well as the Ministries of Tourism of Jordan, Maldives, Cayman Islands and Egypt
As a consultant and organizer of cultural events, he has worked with international tour operators, airlines, hotel groups and travel agencies of italian & foreign states. He has created and promoted world championships of underwater photography and filming, organizing a total of 11 editions in Italy, Jordan, Egypt, Thailand, Grand Cayman, Maldives and Tunisia. He has served as Director of International Events and Marketing Manager with SIAI Group for Hotel Palumbalza in Sardinia and with Domina Hotels & Resorts in Egypt. He devised many international events and seminars, he published reports on the marine environment. All these activities have enriched the knowledge and friendship of prominent personalities, such as: the Italian Presidents Pertini, Cossiga, Scalfaro, Ciampi and several Ministers of Foreign Affairs, King Hussein of Jordan, the Italian Ambassadors in Cairo and in Amman. Tourism Ministers of Yemen, Maldives, Cayman Islands, and the President of the World Film Commission CMAS George Albuquerque, from whom he received important awards and official certificates.
